Biography
Was such an imposing presence and important figure in the Tasmania JackJumpers winning the NBL24 championship that he went on to play for the Australian Boomers at Paris 2024.
After growing up in Brisbane, he was an emerging star of Australian basketball right through his teenage years, before joining the Centre of Excellence in 2016.
Had a stint in college at the University of Tulsa for the 2016/17 season playing 32 games with the Golden Hurricanes for 3.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 0.9 blocks in 14 minutes.
After that, began his NBL career with his hometown Brisbane Bullets firstly as a development player for NBL18, before graduating to a full roster spot.
Had a standout QBL, now NBL1 North, season in 2019 at the Brisbane Capitals helping lead them to a championship before taking giant steps forward in the NBL20.
Was Most Improved Player having produced 8.1 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.1 blocks, which earned him an NBA opportunity with a two-way deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Made one NBA appearance and played 10 games with the Erie BayHawks of the G League, before returning to the NBL with the Perth Wildcats to complete NBL21.
Joined the JackJumpers for their inaugural season and after two years hampered by injury, everything all clicked in the back end of NBL24 with his rim protection and shot blocking threat, his finishing at the rim and all-round presence pivotal in the championship triumph.
That performance saw him selected to play for Australia at the Paris Olympic Games and now enter NBL25 with the JackJumpers at the peak of his powers.
