Biography
The 24-year-old returned from a knee reconstruction last season and now on the back of being part of history playing with South Sudan at Paris 2024, will look to unleash his potential with the Cairns Taipans.
After appearing in 15 games in NBL23 for the Sydney Kings to be part of the championship winning squad, ruptured the ACL in his right knee before the finals of that season.
He remained a development player in NBL24 with Sydney and did make it back on the court for one game before some tremendous NBL1 North form at the Northside Wizards and then playing with South Sudan at the Paris Olympic Games.
While born in Egypt, moved to Melbourne with his family when he was young before finishing his high schooling at Saint Louis Christian Academy.
From there, spent a season at Lee College in Baytown, Texas and then the 2020/21 season with Daytona State College in Florida before the impressive and long point guard started his professional career.
His first stint was in Croatia with Vrijednosnice Osijek, before coming back to Australia and joining the Kings.
After his return from the knee reconstruction in NBL24, played 14 games with the Wizards of the NBL1 North for 18.6 points, 7.6 assists and 5.7 rebounds which saw him bang down the door to play for South Sudan in Paris 2024, and now join the Taipans for NBL25.
