Biography
The Tasmania JackJumpers captain has put together a career in the NBL, that's seen him amass 290 games and win two championships already, as he now looks to continue leading his team from the front in NBL24.
The 34-year-old has put together quite the impressive career in the NBL so far and is far from done yet, after being part of the rich Australian legacy at St Mary's College.
After growing up in Mackay, went to high school in Brisbane and then attended the Australian Institute of Sport in 2007 and 2008 before joining Saint Mary's in 2008.
Across the next four years, he would play 122 games with the Gaels, where he averaged 6.2 points and 2.4 rebounds, while shooting the three ball at 42 per cent.
Was hot property once he graduated and started his NBL career at the Cairns Taipans in the 2012/13 season. By his second season with the Snakes, his production was up to 7.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists to go with his knockdown shooting.
Then spent two seasons with the Townsville Crocodiles including 12.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 2015/16, winning the NBL Most Improved Player award, but with the Crocs folding, headed to Belgium with Leuven Bears.
Ended up joining the Perth Wildcats midway through the 2017/18 season and would remain at the 'Cats up until the end of 2020/21, winning championships in 2019 and 2020.
Joined the start up JackJumpers in 2021/22 and was named the club's first captain, and has been a key part of everything Tasmania has done over the first two years, and will be again in NBL24.
